Bayou Mystere is an intriguing novel that takes you from the Bayou to New Orleans through Chicago to the shores of Lake Geneva. Mike Corey has written a riveting story of greed, fraud, murder, bigotry, and racism in the Jim Crow south. It is, as well, a warm and touching love story. A MUST READ.......from the prologue to the last word. I couldn’t put it down!!!!!

This [The Brothers O'Neill] is Michael Corey’s 2nd novel, and his narrative voice is certainly growing and becoming quite unique.
THE BROTHER’S O’NEILL is a story featuring the duality of two very different brothers who, experiencing the fresh Irish-American experience, take very different paths.
Murder, Suspense, and more.
I look forward to his next novel & highly recommend this one.
This book [The Brothers O'Neill] was the second novel by Michael Corey - done in 3 parts - exploring the relationship between two Irish-American brothers, Sean and Finn. It was amazing to see how their stories told the first-generation experience of growing up the children of Irish immigrants. Sean returns to Ireland to solve the mystery of his brother’s (Finn’s) untimely demise and gets mixed up in the danger of the IRA.
Interweaving historical components with fictionalized/thriller elements, this book is a compelling page-turner! Highly recommended.
